How was everyone's salmon season this year? Mine was wonderful, I brought in well over 30 pinks(humpies) about 10 silvers and a couple kings.  I usually run 2 corkies, a piece of yarn, and a bait of eggs.  What do you use and why?

I had a lot of luck with the spinners this year, got to remember to clip those barbs before you put it in the water or it might cost you some money, your fishing pole, and on some occasions your vehicle as well.  No luck for me on the steelhead yet though, but I have caught a few chum.  Chum make some nice smoked salmon, and I use my own smoker. 

Does anyone have a special recipe they use for their own smoked salmon?
